〔Job profile〕
The Medical Science Liaison (Senior Staff MSL) will support Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) by sharing the latest research and clinical data to promote the company's products. They will engage with KOLs to educate and develop presentations for scientific forums, CME events; translate research data into educational content for various events; supporting marketing, commercial operations, and sales teams. MSL may assist the Product Management Director deploying ad hoc strategic initiatives to broader MSL and/or Medical Affairs staff.
〔Key accountabilities〕
1. Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) Develop strong, professional relationships with physicians to promote a deeper understanding of the company’s diagnostic technologies and products.
2. Work closely with KOLs to increase their awareness of the products, facilitating their involvement in scientific discussions and potential collaboration in clinical settings.
3. Create, update, and present educational content (such as slides, abstracts, and research findings) to KOLs, ensuring that the latest scientific data and product information are effectively communicated.
4. Coordinate and lead presentations at scientific meetings, including round table discussion, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) events. This includes ensuring that the content is well-aligned with the company’s goals and the needs of the audience.
5. Serve as the clinical expert and primary resource for the Sales & Marketing teams, ensuring they are up-to-date on scientific data, clinical benefits, and competitive positioning of the company’s products.
6. Contribute to development of provider and patient educational materials.
7. Collect insights from the field, feedback to internal stakeholders and implement them into company’s medical affairs strategies.
8. Adhere to internal standard processes and comply with regulatory and compliance requirements
〔Requirements〕
1. Typically requires a Master’s degree or a PhD or PharmD
2. 2 years’ experience in the industry, previous MSL experience is a plus, knowledge of biotechnology, diagnostics, and pharmaceuticals.
3. Strong written and oral communication skills4. Significant travel to meet with KOLs, attend events, and conferences up to 50% travel
